I decided to start a shop here on Etsy, Maple Leaf Lane.

I am originally from England and married to an American in the US Air Force. We have have been fortunate enough to travel all over Europe, American and UAE. I have picked up so much crafting and imaginative ideas from all of these places over the years.

I have been making handmade cards for many years for all occasions from Christmas cards to Birthday's and Newborns. My family an friends now always expect a handmade card for Christmas from me now. I feel like my cards are different from others that you may find in the store. I like to match up paper and spend a lot of time to create unique and personal cards. I like to use 3D embellishments, ribbon and layering papers. My cards offer more than just a piece of paper they are a gift sometime in themselves.

I really love to decorate my home with unique art that I have collected from all over our travels. I also love to paint and read when I can find the time to relax.
I have 2 children that I have adopted and my home is full of love and laughter, the occasional tears too. We also have an Italian kitty and a Great Dane.

I am always experimenting with new craft mediums and have been interested in working with resin. I have started a very small collection of Botanical jewelry. These have been made with all natural dried leaves and flowers, then designed and set in resin by me. I have made many custom orders for people that have special flowers from either weddings or funerals. It has been so nice to create something beautiful for them that they can remember and keep.

Maple Leaf Lane products are currently being sold in New York at Butterfly 7, Preble County Historical Society, Harrisburg PA and Dayton OH.
